About Me

Born and raised in Nashville Tennessee, I grew up surrounded by a melting pot of different cultures, as well as a plethora of different artists that used various mediums. The biggest influences on my life are the punk rock and skateboarding scenes, as well as my pursuit of knowledge involving Japanese culture and media. These influences affected how I viewed the art around me, and have allowed me to create my own unique vision of the world within my pieces.

My Digital Workflow

How I work digitally involves two monitors and a drawing tablet. The first monitor has references for whatever I draw, whilst my second has the art itself mirrored onto my tablet for the sake of clarity between the colors and imagery being displayed between the tablet and the monitor. This image is a rough example.

My Physical Workflow

How I work using paints typically involves linseed oil, water soluble oil paints, and canvas. Process-wise, I typically sketch the painting out initially on the canvas, getting the composition down, and then taking a picture of the image so I can keep track. From there, I loosely mix my paints and start my under-paintings.
